TAC to work with Gauteng health department in fixing problems


The Gauteng Department of Health’s head, Dr Sibongile Zungu, and Dumisani Dakile, the adviser to Premier David Makhura, announced that they will work closely with the Treatment Action Campaign (TAC) to fix identified problems in the Gauteng public health system.

Zungu said they would collaborate with the TAC and people living with HIV to make sure issues presented are addressed accordingly.

The team will assess the state of Gauteng’s public health facilities for six weeks, after which solutions will be discussed by the elected representatives with Makhura, MEC for Health Dr Nomathemba Mokgethi and Zungu. – Daily Mavrick (13 August 2021).
